Note: When we first published this strip, we asserted that it was an excerpt from a 1940s comic book called All War Funnies. Thanks to the sharp eye of a dedicated reader, it was brought to our attention that the Is This Tomorrow? staff were victims of a cruel hoax. Allen Thompson, of Tallahassee, FL, noted that the flag in the background of the last panel was anachronistic, containing 50, not 48 states, as a WWII-era flag would. Thus the comic page could not have been of the vintage claimed. We at ITT? would like to apologize to our readership for this and to promise that nothing like this will ever happen again. Thank you.
